This project was developed for Another Kind of Blue as an interactive pre-show experience designed for the waiting area of one of their VR performances, and was presented at the NDSM Treehouse in Amsterdam.

The concept focuses on togetherness and shared movement before the VR experience begins, counterbalancing the often individual nature of virtual reality. By encouraging collective interaction prior to wearing the headset, the installation aims to create a sense of connection, belonging, and embodied presence.

My role in the project focused on the visual system and real-time visuals. The visuals respond dynamically to movement and interaction, supporting the choreography driven concept and translating physical expression into a digital, immersive layer.

The project is set to be implemented in one of Another Kind of Blue’s future shows and has also initiated further research at Hogeschool Inholland on togetherness and belonging within immersive environments.
